Hello, Bonjour,Guten Tag and G'day!

Hey all,

My Real Life name is Nathan Furry (My last name may sound funny but it has been tracked down to Norwegian roots). My Alias as you can see is Kaiser (Loosely German for King), which I decided to use from the Yu-Gi-Oh Card 'Kaiserdragon'. I enjoy random facts of information and like to research important topics in history (e.g. World War 2).

On the topic of World War 2 there are several things i enjoy. The two most popular are the very feared Wehrmacht and the very brave AIF (Australian Imperial Forces) who most served in North Africa and Kokoda.

As for my informative and helpful purposes to the forum however I will try but chances are my knowledge on most topics won't be as accurate as yours.

Hello Kaiser, welcome on this forum. I'm sure you"ll find many interesting topics here. There are a couple of Australians here already, one or two Norwegians too.

Just a little precision if I may: kaiser, Ceasar and Tsar have the same roots . They refer to Emperor rather than king.

I would like to reply in kind by saying I hope to see you in forum discussions.

Also, Thank you to Skipper for pointing out my little flaw. I had wiki'ed the word months ago and it does have its roots down to the very famous Julius Caesar (Kaiser Julius if it is Germanized) in which many languages did localize it (Germans almost directly into their Vocab). I guess it's easy to forget when you're tired.
