I am USAF retired (2003). I lived out in Japan, the Philippines and Guam for about 10 years during my service. During that time I was able to visit many WWII sites in the Philippines, Japan, the Marianas, etc. I have been able to visit Trinity site in New Mexico, the airfield on Tinian where the Enola Gay took off and Hiroshima (I walked across the bridge used for targeting). I participated in a walk that retraced the steps of the Bataan Death March in May 1989, I was fit and it was extremely difficult. Very, very hot. In some of my spare time I maintain a website USAAF.net, although I have neglected posting anything for sometime. Glad to be here, Chuck
