What about them? They are all divisional and unit vehicle markings for the Waffen-SS. Some showing the difference over a period of time.

Those are only a fraction of the list. There were 38 commissioned Waffen SS divisions in the war. The runic symbols were first used at the beginning of the war. Don't know when they stopped using them. Might have been 42' when they did.

It seems from your picture that they tried to take the creation order and make it part of the symbols used.

Totenkopf is Deaths head in German.

The Wiking seems to have a Galic version of the swastika, perhaps refering to their galic heritage.

Frundsburg starts with an F so it seems logical.

The fist in GOTZ VON BERLICHINGEN'S div sign represents the artifical iron fist made for the man of the same name they were named after ,he lost his hand in 1505 in a battle before Landshut while he was coming to the aid of Albert the fourth Duke of Bavaria. The hand was made by a blacksmith from Olnhausen and proved a technical masterpiece
