    Hello All,

I recently completed a scene of US Army port battalion work on Utah Beach. I used a mix of Italeri, Airfix, and Sgt's Mess models. I have attached one photo to this post and you can see more on my hobby blog. I'd love if you came to check it out. It's a small homage to my grandfather's service in Normandy.

Nice web cite too, 1:72 scale isn't the easy'st yet you did good paint job (the guns i found impressive), i'm a 1/72 man myself and i'm allways grateful when people mention the scale in the treath, everybody should do that.
    Greetings, stano666 :)

Mate these are great! 1/72 quite often doesn't stand up to close scrutiny, but yours do nicley. How its photographed can play a big part too. The beaches (as you probably already know) where made up in model form for the planning of the invasion (also for the paratroopers and SFs landing early). These were apparently EXTREMELY accurate, with individual sand dunes and big weeds even added! Would love to get a gander at those...
