Hi everyone, glad to be here. I'm not actually Alan Trammell but you can call me Al. I'm 32 and have been into the War since I was a kid and thought I had read quite a bit on it, although I find myself suffering from a case of knowledge-envy compared to many here. I'm born and raised mostly here in Chicagoland but have traveled a decent amount: Germany and Australia as well as all over the US. Mexico too, although that's not really relevant here! I stumbled onto this site looking for a bit of information, I am kicking around the idea of writing a book that ties in some WWII, and I needed a name of a guy. Who knows if I'll get around to doing it but I'll give it a shot. I'd love to have the time to play some video games and such involving the war -everything is so much better than risk on PS1 was!- but I have three little girls and have no time for anything beyond putzing around a forum. I do get 3 hours on Sunday to watch the Bears lose. I'll chip in sometimes on some topics, although I am going to lack for footnotes and sources...just a warning. Although I promise not to talk out of my ass and stick to what I actually know. Thanks to all for putting up with me!
