    Hello,

I am new to this forum and I registered because I am looking for help on my research.

I am German and I am trying to find information about my grandfather. During the last month of the war he fought on the western front against allied troops and became an American POW in early 1945.

I got the Russian POW records of my other grandfather from the German Red Cross. They got them from Moscow.

Is there a way to get a copy of the US records as well? Where could I ask?

I very much appreciate any kind of helpful information.

I don't know Chinanski but I do hope that we have someone who can help you. Give you request several days, it may take that long.

Thank you very much for your quick replies. I haven't checked the link yet but will do so tonight.

I know it sometimes takes a while.
