Hi everybody, during the last 10 years of his live my father wrote his memoires and it turned out to be a very entertaining book. It covers his roles as a fire watcher during the Blitz and his time as a head-ache operator in the Royal Navy. I have set up a website with excerpts from the book, the website is continously being expanded with interesting stories from his memoires. It would be great if you could take a look and let me know what you think of his writing. You can find the site at World War 2 Memoires - The Memoires of Peter Hammond Thanks for your support.
Thank you for sharing your father's memoires, Bernard. You have done a nice job on the website. It is an excellent tribute to your father.
