German m34 Edelstahl police helmet authentic?

    I have bought this m34 police helmet factory stamped Edelstahl and was wondering if it was authentic, I believe it had a makeover early in the war and was fitted with two decals. The decals have been removed but you can see where they were. Here are some pictures.
